This was the capstone project of the Manufacturing Engineering Technology program, taking place in MFGE – 421: Automation and MFGE – 422: Plant Layout.  Its primary foci are:

• Design an automation system to manufacture a part and assemble it into a product
• Design a plant layout to house the manufacturing processes from A
• Test and showcase all the knowledge and skills we had gained over the previous 2 years

The part manufactured was the same one used in Project X the previous semester (in my case a knife blade).  This project was completed independently.
